Eat Stay Play & Shop

In 2026 Shepparton Art Museum is hosting landmark exhibition Facing Modernity: Degas to Picasso from the Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki.

Greater Shepparton City Council proudly supports major events that deliver strong economic benefits to our region, contributing more than $60 million each year directly into our local economy.

Major events bring tens of thousands of visitors to Shepparton & Goulburn Valley each year. Visitors will be travelling throughout the region, including our small towns, and we are preparing to promote products and experiences that run alongside the exhibition, encouraging locals to explore and giving visitors more reasons to stay, spend and discover everything the region has to offer.

Greater Shepparton City Council is always considering ways to connect visitors to local business to boost our local economy. We are inviting local businesses to be part of this event by offering a tailored incentive that encourages visitors to step inside and spend locally.

Facing Modernity: Degas to Picasso is supported by Visit Victoria, and their key tool to promote the region will be the Eat, Stay, Play & Shop content.

Please complete the form below to express your interest in providing a special product or experience. No need to have an idea in mind, we can work with you to develop an offer. Submit your expression of interest to be part of the full visitor experience during Facing Modernity: Degas to Picasso from Saturday 23 May to Sunday 20 September 2026.

Offers will be promoted as part of an event-specific guide to help attendees make the most of their time during the exhibition and while staying in our region.

By taking part, your business offer may be promoted through:

  • The Eat, Stay, Play & Shop brochure
  • Exhibition-related digital content and webpages
  • Links shared directly via email with attendees

All offers will be collated into a single event offers page for easy access.

Expressions of Interest end 5pm Monday 23 March 2026.
