Shepparton & Goulburn Valley has fantastic infrastructure and facilities and plays host to many regional, state, national and international major events.

It has an enviable reputation for being the host venue for many diverse successful conferences, festivals and major events including the Vic Open Bowls, Victorian Grass Court Championships, Country Week Tennis, International Dairy Week, AFL V/Line Cup, A League soccer, Auscycling Masters and Juniors Road Race, UCI BMX International and Auscycling BMX Nationals Championships. Community events including Converge on the Goulburn, Shepparton Festival, St Georges Road Food Festival and Fryers Street Food Festival. Motoring events are also supported with various car clubs coming to our region including Springcar Nationals about to celebrate its 30th year in Shepparton. Some of the major events in Shepparton attract up to 30,000 visitors, and with proper planning these events are easily catered for with quality infrastructure and facilities which are second to none. .

BMX National Championships 2019 were held in Shepparton & Goulburn Valley.

Shepparton & Goulburn Valley has the capacity to accommodate in excess of 2,000 people at any one time.

The Economic Development team work on securing and assisting over 85 major event, festivals, conferences and celebrations each year.
