December each year the Dookie Quarry comes to life with the Secret Garden Gathering, where the quarry transforms for a live music event like no other, set against the backdrop of the quarry's rock walls.
Back in time: The Dookie Centenary Clock stands tall in the CWA Gardens atop a tower made from original rail line. The clock originated from the Wine Cellar at Chateau Dookie Vineyard. It became the Bright Town Clock in 1929. It was gifted back to the Dookie community by the Bright Shire Council and the RSL for their centenary in 1988
