Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking enthusiastic locals to join our vibrant, award-winning team. Volunteering here is a great fit for:
- Locals who want to share their love of the region.

- Anyone considering a career change to tourism or customer service.
- People re-entering the workforce after time away.
With up to six new volunteer positions available, shifts include Monday mornings, Tuesday afternoons, and weekend mornings or afternoons. Weekend volunteers enjoy additional flexibility, making it easy to fit volunteering into your schedule.
What You’ll Do
As a Visitor Centre volunteer, you’ll play a key role in welcoming visitors and showcasing the best of our region. Responsibilities include:
- Greeting visitors and answering questions.
- Providing local tips and information.
- Selling local produce and souvenirs.
- Gathering valuable statistics about the visitors coming to our region.
- Assisting with tasks that match your skills and interests.

What You Need
No prior experience? No problem! While customer service experience is a bonus, it’s not required—comprehensive training will be provided. What’s more important is a willingness and enthusiasm to learn new things. Volunteers must be over 18 due to the sale of alcohol at the Centre.
