Artists Cam Scale and Andrew Davis have paid tribute to Sir John Monash with the painting of the Tatura Water Tower.
With remembrance poppies on one side and a portrait of Sir John Monash on the other, artists Cam Scale and Andrew Davis have created something pretty special on the GV Water owned tower.
The tower was designed by Monash, an engineer and Australian military commander in WWI, with the 364,000 litre-capacity tower completed in 1912.
For further information the Tatura Area Community Bulletin July 2021 edition features the unveiling of the Water Tower with a special article on Sir John Monash - Not just a soldierĀ on page 4.
Of an evening you can view the tower under lights between 8pm and 10pm daily.
Can be viewed 24 hours
