Located at 8 Fraser Street, Shepparton, just off the Maude Street Mall, the Tower is open from 8.00am to dusk, seven days a week, with free entry.
Constructed over the years 1967 to 1968, the Shepparton Tower introduced microwave technology to Shepparton by the then Telecom Australia, now Telstra.
The Tower stands at 76.2 metres tall (250 feet) with a tourist viewing platform at 35 metres high, offering 360 degree views over the city and surrounds.
With 160 steps over 8 flights of stairs, the Tower has also become known for Tower Runs and fitness training. The Zaidee's Tower Run back in 2015 attracted 120 competitors; the run started at the base, competitors had their hand stamped at the top, then returned to the starting point and the fastest time recorded was 89 seconds.
There are a range of parking options available nearby, please observe parking signage.
