Other Creative City Networking Sessions:

Hosted by Neil Morris, this session will provide an opportunity to hear about Still Here Arts & Culture and its work within the music sector and locally at Yurringa Studio. Yurringa Studio in Mooroopna is a new music production and development space.

Special guest speakers and performers from community will give insight into some of this work and there will be time networking and exchanging ideas around potential future collaborative projects between First Nations community members and the broader community.

Still Here Arts & Culture founded and directed by Neil Morris is Yorta Yorta based, First Nations owned and First Nations operated. Specialising in creative programming and mentoring in First Nations arts and cultural practice, Still Here also provides educational, cultural consultative services and community development.

Still Here Arts & Culture is driven by the vision that to achieve true justice and equity in this land, we require significant First Nations led initiatives within the cultural fabric of society.

This ethic is underpinned by Indigenous self-determination, cultural sensitivity and empowerment on all levels.

The Still Here vision is firmly embedded in the Arts , Culture , Environment, and Education sectors with acknowledgement of their intrinsic links to overall wellbeing and health for Indigenous communities, as well as broader societal well-being.

Refreshments will be provided.

This session is an outcome of Greater Shepparton City Council's Creative City Strategy and has been developed in partnership with Still Here Arts & Culture.
