Drop in to the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre located on the ground floor of the SAM building, to meet the giant Tyrannosaurus rex!
Here for a short stay, T. rex is part of Zoos Victoria's "Dinos at the Zoo" promotion, which includes Kyabram Fauna Park, located just half an hour's drive from Shepparton!
Over six metres in length, T. rex offers the perfect photo opportunity - several kids and adults can sit on the dino at one time! We just ask that you engage with the display in a safe and responsible manner*, and tag your photos sheppandgv!
Whilst in the Visitor Centre, pick up your copy of the T.rex adventure trail - follow the trail filled with fun and adventure across the Goulburn Valley finishing at Kyabram Fauna Park.
*All children visiting the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre must be accompanied by a responsible adult! Please keep off the T. rex's tail, which is a bit fragile, but you can certainly sit on its back!
