Reflections on resilience from the La Trobe University Art Collection Drawing on the extensive La Trobe University art collection, and co-curated by La Trobe Art Institute Director Bala Starr and La Trobe’s Associate Professor of Visual Arts, Jacqueline Millner, Thriving is an exhibition built around the work of Melbourne-based photographer Siri Hayes.
Time: Monday to Friday 8am-4pm
Hayes’ theatrical, expansive compositions explore our social and cultural relationship to land and locality, reflecting on contemporary and historical engagements with land and its representations. An opening event will be held on Saturday 19th March at 2 pm to celebrate the launch of the exhibition.
