March is whisky month at Thornebridge! Come and join us in the historic cellar at Thornebridge for an afternoon of small batch Australian whisky.

What better way to enjoy the afternoon on a hot day than to chill out in our unique amazing cool massive cellar unseen by the public for 50 years.

Andrew Baker from @ Bakery Hill Distillery in Bayswater has proven great single malt whisky can be made in Australia. You will experience a truly unique entertaining experience with Andrew, and taste his naturally produced Australian whisky during the masterclass. Andrew will provide 6 whiskies to taste and there will be a cocktail on arrival.

Thornebridge was built 150 years ago , is the only private building in the Shepparton shire listed by Heritage Victoria and has been restored over the last 24 years to an elegant grand Victorian show case using artisan trades rarely seen today.

A regional platter that compliments the whisky will be served to nibble at during the event. A bottle of Bakery Hill Classic Single Malt Whisky 500ml will be given away to one lucky whisky devotee @ the conclusion of the event.

Whisky will be available to purchase after the masterclass.

If you feel the cold please bring a jumper as the cellar is cold. If you don't feel like driving home after the masterclass, stay in one of our wonderful suites.
