The Land is Us turns our sight, minds, and hearts to the land beneath our
feet. Each artwork offers a place from which artists convey, re-interpret,
or affirm the lived experiences of people and their stories of connection
with the landscape.

Weaving together complex and varied artistic approaches by significant
Australian and First Nations artists, including Sidney Nolan, Brook Andrew,
John Brack, Destiny Deacon and Patricia Piccinini, alongside international
artists, the exhibition presents a range of perspectives surrounding our
fascination and connection to the land and its role in shaping our national
and personal identities.
