Saturday 8 June Centenary Celebration Ball from 7pm to 11pm Official Opening of the Centenary Music, Dancing, Belle & Beau of the Ball "Queens of Tallygaroopna" re-enactment Please bring a plate of supper to share. Tickets: $15 adults, $10 secondary students, children under 12 free
Sunday 9 June 2024: Commemorative Luncheon from 11.30am. Returned & Services League, Memorial Service (free public entry) Hall 100 Year Birthday Cake, Afternoon Tea & Music Tickets: $20 adults, $15 secondary students, children under 12 free
The events will also host the launch of the Tallygaroopna Soldier's Memorial Hall Centenary Commemorative History Book. This book, commissioned by the Tallygaroopna Hall Committee and Tallygaroopna & District Historical Society Inc., and written by Beverly Moss, contains 135 full-colour pages packed with photos, newspaper articles, local stories and memorabilia.
