SAM Summer Camp - January 2025

School holidays at SAM are back for the summer! For artists aged 4 - 17, our range of free and low-cost hands-on programs and tours are perfect for keeping kids and teens creating, thinking, and playing while school's out.

Collect a SAM Art Trail from the front desk and set-off on an adventure exploring SAM’s exhibitions this summer.

This self-guided trail is fun for the whole family. And don’t forget to get a stamp on your way out!

In this workshop, artist Julia Gorman encourages young artists to think outside the (cardboard) box as they transform cardboard into abstract flat-pack sculptures.

Can-tastic Creations: Draw, Write & Colour

Participants will explore the colourful world of art and poetry by creating their own unique fruit can drawings and writing playful short poems inspired by Kenny Pittock’s mural at SAM.

 

All children 12 and under must be accompanied by a guardian or carer.
