What is the role of an art museum in contemporary Australia? Is a gallery’s collection more than the sum of its parts? Who is the ‘public’ that ‘public’ galleries speak to? And where do artists fit in?

Join Nell Fraser and Fi Wilson, of the Melbourne Art Library, in a reading group unpacking what it means to be an art museum.

You don't need to be an art expert or a historian to join in. No prior knowledge needed. All are welcome.
