The Murray Codference is back!
In November 2025, the VFA will return to present another public conference on everything big cod and native fish in Shepparton.
Come on down to hear tips and tricks from some of the best big cod anglers in the country and maybe learn how to land a metery!
There’ll be updates from VFA staff on what we’re doing to improve fisheries for all Victorian anglers and recover threatened native fish.
We’ve also got talks on the latest and greatest in lure technology from Australia and around the world.
Finally, stay tuned for “The Great Debate” – To live scope or not, that is the question!

The conference is part of the State Government’s $96 million Go Fishing and Boating Victoria plan to improve recreational fishing, boating, piers and aquaculture.
