🧧 Lunar New Year Celebration 2026 – Welcoming the Year of the Horse 🧧

Celebrate the Lunar New Year with the Goulburn Valley Chinese Association (GVCA) at a vibrant, family-friendly community celebration in Shepparton.

Join people from across the Goulburn Valley, regional Victoria and Melbourne for an afternoon of culture, creativity and connection at Riverlinks Eastbank.

✨ What to expect:

• 🦁 Lion Dance performances
• ✍️ Chinese calligraphy workshops
• 🎨 DIY arts and crafts
• 🎶 Traditional Chinese instrument performances
• 🍜 Food trucks and community stalls
• 📸 Photo moments and family-friendly spaces
• 🎟️ Raffle tickets available on site – $2 per ticket, with fuel voucher prizes to be won

This is a free, inclusive event for all ages, with space to relax, play and celebrate together. Whether Lunar New Year is a long-held tradition or a brand-new experience, everyone is warmly welcome.
