Be part of racing history when the Lexus Melbourne Cup arrives in Shepparton!
Legendary race caller Bryan Martin OAM will visit Shepparton and Nagambie in August as part of the 16th annual Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour.
Loved by both television viewers and radio listeners alike, Martin has over 45 years of race calling experience and received an Order of Australia Award in 2011 for his services to radio and charity. Throughout his career he has called 29 Melbourne Cups, including Makybe Diva’s historic triple winning streak from 2003 – 2005.
While in Shepparton and Nagambie, Martin will take part in a series of community events which will provide locals with the opportunity to get up close with the 18-carat gold trophy.
On the day, there will also be a jumping castle, face painting and horse-racing themed roving entertainers. There will also be a community barbecue offered by Rotary.
