Each year people come from all over Victoria, NSW and SA to showcase their amazing talents with wood and demonstrate new and interesting skills and products and 2023 will see the biggest and best wood show we have ever put on!
Time: 9am-4pm
There are hundreds of wood items to purchase including; furniture, turned bowls/platters, kitchen items, plant hangers, chopping boards, candle holders, bandsaw boxes, jewellery boxes, Christmas presents, milled timber, woodworking hardware and lots, lots more. All stalls are local small business owners and suppliers from within the region. Get in early for Christmas and support local!
In 2023 there will be numerous demonstrations on sword making, sleeper cutting, turning tool sharpening, turning, pyrography, working with resin, puzzle making, turning pens, scrolls sawing, whittling, carving, bandsaw boxes plus lots more. The main stage will see several of our club members show casing their skills in turning, pyrography, wavy chopping boards and also Art Tree Creations doing resin pours.
Why not also check out timber sales area, where you will find a huge selection of hardwoods at ridiculously cheap prices! A great spot to pick up timber for your next project! Need somewhere to take the kids for the school holidays – well we have you covered! This year, we will have food trucks supporting local community groups, as well as sword making workshops with Schloss Toys. So bring the kids along, fill their bellies, make a wooden kit or two and let them loose with their imaginations!
A huge weekend with many giveaways, demonstrations, games, stalls and much more. So come along and stock up for Christmas, ask advice from experts and why not join our woodworking club while you’re at it! Best of all watch some amazingly talented woodcrafters do what they do best!
