An installation of textile banners by Rachel Doller at Wild Life Brewing Co. ‘foliage and rocks’ is an installation of hand-made banners inspired by nature, and prioritising sustainability in creative practice. Through this piece, Rachel Doller hopes to motivate others to think about the materials we use and how we create.
Each banner will be individually made into a collaged creation using a variety of second-hand textiles and mixed media. With an emphasis on shape, colour and pattern the banners will reference foliage and rock shapes and, true to Doller’s distinctive style, they will be bold, colourful and joyous.
A collage workshop will run in conjunction with the installation.
