A night of world jazz fusion Firetail’s music spans from 70’s jazz-fusion, South Indian Carnatic music and their very own brand of jazz-tronica.
Formed in 2018 as a collaborative recording project, Firetail has developed an ambient approach to song-writing that blends soul-infused rhythms with evocative melodies and driving percussion.
From the band’s earliest days playing warehouse parties and monthly dive bar residencies, the group has continued to push musical boundaries by collaborating with a wide variety of guest vocalists, spoken word artists, dancers and instrumentalists.
The result is colliding compositions that never stay in the box for long.
