Melbourne-based visual artist Emma Coulter becomes the fourth artist to feature on SAM's Level 4 Furphy Family Art Wall. Drawing upon the idea of SAM being both an ‘art container’ and a communal space for social interaction, Coulter’s boldly multicoloured work, titled 'spatial deconstruction #30 (social fabric)', will wrap the Art Wall in a new sculptural form that responds to the building’s architectural elements.
