Community Art Project
Time: 1pm to 4pm & 10am to 3.45pm
Our community has joined forces to run a number of art workshops in Murchison. Bringing together people with an interest in visual arts, participants will explore aspects of one's personal past and our local history. Local Goulburn Valley artists, Philip Hickingbotham, Kerry Handwerk, and Judith Roberts will explore skills in acrylic landscape painting, gouache still-life painting, book-making, and textiles/mixed media with participants.
Four workshops - two painting sessions and two textile/mixed media sessions - will run on Saturdays in May:
No experience is required, but a willingness to have fun and learn from skilled artists is essential. Initially, participants may book one session per person. More places may become available.
