Fun bird activities at the Greater Shepparton Visitor Centre!
Collect a River Connect Bird Bingo sheet from the Visitor Centre and take a stroll with the family around Victoria Park Lake. How many different bird species can you find?
The Victoria Park Lake wetland is composed of a series of ponds planted with indigenous water plants and is a haven for birds of all species. If you are lucky, you may even spot a long-neck turtle or rekali swimming in the water while you are birding!
Take a seat at the Visitor Centre craft table to enjoy coloring a bird mask or creating bird finger puppets, and have a play in the sensory bird tray*. Can you answer all the questions on our BIrd Quiz? Discover the melodies of the birds and try your voice at mimicking them!
