Have you ever wanted to learn how to speak and understand Yorta Yorta language? Activities in the Park's School Holiday Activities Program has collaborated with Heidi Knowles to present a special ‘Story Time in the Park’. This is a great way to support and celebrate NAIDOC week 2019. Badja Bayaderra: Story Time in the Park is a rewarding educational experience providing kids with a fun and engaging story telling session spoken in both English and Yorta Yorta language. Story time is then followed by an arts and craft activity where participants are encouraged to learn more about the long neck turtle and create their own using different materials.
What to bring: Wear comfortable active clothing, bring a drink bottle and remember to be weather appropriate.
