Join the Friends of the Australian Botanic Gardens in celebrating the launch of their project "Connecting our Urban Community with Nature".
The project included signage, a bike rack, seating and a conversation/classroom area, supported by the Connected Communities Grant and Soroptomists.
The donated Soroptomists seat overlooks the area.
The launch will take place in the Children's Garden (approach from the Gardens' front gate or over the Broken River pedestrian bridge). As part of the launch event, a children's planting activity will take place in the area (children and adults are welcome to plant a provided plant) and water and fruit will be provided.
Morning tea will be served after the activity at the Turtle Garden near the Garden's main entrance, where there will also be plants for sale (10.00am to 11.30am - cash sales only).
