You are invited to attend our Are you holding up or building up – support worker empowerment workshop and networking event.

Everyone is welcome, including registered and non-registered NDIS providers.

This is a unique opportunity to hear from industry speakers and attend a networking lunch to meet your peers and build a community.

Why are we doing this?
Our goal is to create a unique event that brings together direct care
workers and disability service providers from our communities. This
gathering aims to enhance knowledge, foster new relationships, and cultivate
a sense of belonging within a larger network. The motivation behind this
event stems from the increasing reports of caregiver burnout and challenges
in setting healthy, professional boundaries between workers and clients.
Many professionals work in small teams or independently, often feeling
isolated. We want to counteract this isolation by providing opportunities
for networking and mutual support.
What is the purpose of the workshop and networking event?

The “Are You Holding Up or Building Up?” workshop and networking event
is designed for the professional development of support delivery workers and
providers. The event will cover topics such as ethical care practices and
feature insights from individuals with lived experience in receiving and
delivering in-home support services. For those new and existing within the
disability sector, a panel of experts will be available to offer guidance
and answer questions to support your business requirements.
