Following the solo recitals, five selected finalists will advance to the semi final, presenting performances that demonstrate technical mastery, interpretive depth and artistic maturity.  

Each pianist will be challenged to sustain excellence as they compete for a place in the grand final.  

Adjudicated by an international panel, this stage is a thrilling highlight of the Award week and offers audiences a chance to witness rising stars at a pivotal moment in their careers.

With over $75,000 in prize money, international adjudicators and audience votes determine The People’s Choice Prize.

5–8 October 2024 — Solo recitals 
9 October 2024 — Semi final 
10 October 2024 — Grand final and prize presentation
