'Mushers' and their purpose bred sled dogs come from all over Australia to compete against each other over 3 days of racing.
The Northern Victoria Sled Dog Classic is a unique event held each year over the Queens Birthday Long Weekend.
The teams with the fastest times over 3 days of racing win prizes, trophies and points towards National Championships hosted by the Australian Sled Dog Sports Association.
Racing starts early at 7am on Saturday, Sunday and Monday with plenty of action to see as 1 dog, 2 dog, 3 dog, 4 dog, 6 dog and 8 dog teams compete.
We also have specialty classes called Canicross (running with a dog), Bikejoring (riding a mountain bike with a dog) and family fun with junior and mini mushers joining in the fun.
